Animal prints can be used with traditional or contemporary furniture, and as long as you don’t go overboard, they don’t go out of style. When in moderation, a little pop of leopard or cheetah can really make a room come alive, adding a touch of elegance, style and texture.

Stepping into Building #6, one immediately thinks of a warm Southern Living home. The wrap-around veranda style balcony, painted metal ceiling, and warm atmosphere alludes to the treasures inside. This building was once home to the fancy Davidson’s department store, the typical small town store that offered something for everyone.

Building #6 features both formal and casual furniture, with a mixture of transitional and traditional pieces. In the basement, you’ll find the Treasure Hunt featuring showroom samples, discontinued pieces and closeout furnishings. The first floor is currently brimming with Taylor King showroom samples from the High Point Market.

Building 6 furniture manufacturers include Taylor King, Lexington, Universal/Pennsylvania House, Chateau Dax (Italian Leather), Hillsborough Road, European Traditions, Westbrook, and Cambridge Mills.

Green Front Furniture’s Building #10 – The Queen of the Fleet!

Friday, July 13th, 2012

This beautiful renovated warehouse, the “Queen of the Fleet” as Green Front owner Dickie Cralle likes to call it, sits beside the new High Bridge Trail State Park, the longest recreational bridge in Virginia and originally built in 1853. In fact, the bricks from the original pre-Civil War bridge piers make up the back half of this elegant warehouse. Originally a tobacco warehouse, it was better known later as the Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory.

The furniture manufacturers in this building include Southwood, Eddy West, Michael Thomas, Habersham, English Imports, Harden Furniture, Henkel Harris, Theodore Alexander, Century Upholstery, Lillian August, Hickory White, Althorp, Craftmaster, Select by John Thomas, and Highland House.

Building #10 is currently bursting with market samples from the show at High Point, NC. Green Front buys many of the manufacturer floor samples, passing the savings on to customers. Market samples currently on the floor include furnishings from Southwood, Eddy West, Michael Thomas and Habersham.

Building #9 has four floors packed with some of the most beautiful furniture made.  Manufacturers found in Building #9 include:
