Green Front champions the fight against childhood cancer
RALEIGH, N.C. (November 20, 2023) – Green Front Furniture’s Raleigh team proudly laced up for an extraordinary cause on September 16, stepping out in full force for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Walk/Run in the North Carolina Triangle area. Held at the North Carolina Highway State Test Track, the fundraiser netted $214,340 to cure childhood cancer and toppled St. Jude’s original goal of $200,000.
“Participating in St. Jude’s Walk/Run in Raleigh was a privilege, as it is such an important cause to support,” said Green Front Raleigh General Manager Patrick Casey.
The Green Front Raleigh team walked alongside 1,174 individuals and 124 teams participating in an event that unites communities behind the St. Jude mission: “to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.” St. Jude works to create a world where “no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.”

The Triangle walk/run continues Green Front Furniture’s ongoing support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As the furniture sponsor for the St. Jude Richmond Dream Home Giveaway in both 2022 and 2023, Green Front Farmville partnered with interior designers to outfit a brand-new home and donate a $10,000 shopping spree for winners. In May 2023, Green Front also sponsored the inaugural St. Jude Anchor of Hope benefit in Newport News, Virginia.
