Green Front is about more than furniture. It’s about making an impact in our community and leaving behind a legacy that reaches far beyond store doors. Throughout the years we’ve been privileged to partner with many wonderful organizations, sponsor charity events and give back to our community.
In recent years we have chosen to focus our giving efforts on a few selected partnerships including the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Richmond and Southside SPCA and the Blanton House in Richmond, Virginia. We proudly support these organizations through furniture donation, event sponsorship and cross-promotional efforts. St. Jude Dream Home
We are proud to be the furniture sponsor for the Richmond St. Jude Dream Home for the third year in a row as well as the Hampton Roads and Central Virginia Dream Homes in 2024.
Anchor of Hope
At Green Front we believe it is important to support the mission of St. Jude wherever our customers are, which is why we sponsor the annual Hampton Roads Anchor of Hope Gala in Hampton Roads,Virginia.
St. Jude Run/Walk
Our support of St. Jude doesn’t end at the Virginia state line. Green Front Raleigh organized a team for the annual St. Jude Run/Walk to raise money and awareness in 2023.
Southside SPCA
At Green Front we love our four-legged friends, so supporting our local SPCA just makes sense! As a proud partner we give shelter pets an opportunity to find new homes through event sponsorship, donations and our WFLO Green Front Furniture Dog of the Week.
Lobby Furniture Donation
What better way for Green Front to give back than doing what we do best: furniture. It was our privilege to donate new furniture for the Southside SPCA lobby in 2023.
WFLO Green Front Furniture Dog of the Week
Since spring of 2023, Green Front has partnered with local radio station WFLO and the Southside SPCA to sponsor a dog in need of a new home. This lovable pup gets mentioned on air and on social media. In 2023, more than 300 dogs were adopted.
Richmond Fur Ball
We believe in making an impact on a regional level too, which is why we are a sponsor of the annual Richmond Fur Ball. In 2023, 3,800 pets were adopted through the Richmond SPCA.

Where We Give:
With store locations in Farmville, Manassas and Raleigh, Green Front believes in supporting charities with local proximity to our stores to ensure that Green Front’s contribution remains in the community and positively impacts its residents.
What We Prioritize:
Green Front receives a large number of donation requests each year. Regrettably, we are unable to support every request. When reviewing requests for contributions, we consider organizations that are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code with programs active in our geographic market. Green Front prioritizes furniture donations and sponsorships over monetary requests. Organizations requesting donations must fall into one of the categories listed below, but this does not guarantee that their requests will be approved. Cancer Charities | Organizations that provide financial support and resources for individuals receiving cancer treatment and their families.
Animal Shelters | Organizations dedicated to supporting animal shelters by providing resources, improving shelter conditions and aiding in the adoption and welfare of animals in need.
