What is Les Céramiques De Lussan?
Les Céramiques de Lussan blends traditional pottery techniques with artistic innovation to bring a collection of highly sought-after handpainted ceramic collectables. Well-known for their guinea fowl and quail collectables, each piece is made from red clay sourced locally from nearby Aix-en-Province. After each piece’s shape is formed by hand, a plaster mold is prepared for ceramic casting. These molds are then batch fired and handpainted with the company’s own special formulation of oxides, clays and pigments, making each piece truly one of a kind.
Established in 1974 by artist Heidi Cailard, these ceramics are crafted and painted by hand in the South of France at Lussan, a charming walled village in the Languedoc region. Each one brings international charm and a touch of Provence to your home.
