A flooring mystery. Can you solve it?

A flooring mystery in our historic home…Can you solve it?

In this video, we’re diving into a historic architecture enigma on Monument Avenue in Richmond, Va. Our expert Al Buczek is stumped by the unique tiles paired with an unusual poured gray matrix in the drawing room at Monument by Green Front. From cork composite Zenotherm in the foyer to terracotta hex tiles in the dining room, the historic charm of this 1924 William Bottomley home is undeniable.

The good news? We can preserve and restore all of the floors without losing their original beauty — that includes a gentle sanding for the drawing room. Any ideas on this mystery floor? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
