Timeless, “Oriental”, Deep Red, Medallions, Floral
These are the first images that come to mind when you think of the word rug, especially oriental rug. Traditional rugs cover a vast array of motifs from many different locales. Floral, medallion, and geometric patterns all can be considered traditional rugs. Many of the motifs are based on old Indo-Persian designs but with added elements from the current country of origin.
